does anyone know what kind of food is on the menu (is it all fish and seafood) and how far in advance is it necessary to make a reservation?

Re: flying fishbone in aruba
The Flying Fishbone was absolutely fabulous and is a must see on your trip to Aruba! It was the most romantic night of our entire vacation. With an appetizer, bottle of wine, 2 dinners, and a dessert, the bill came to $110, which is reasonable according to my standards(that's about what we pay for a nice meal in Chicago). The food was fantasic and so was the sunset. Make a reservation around 6:30 and ask for a waterfront table. This was taken from Caribean Online.
In my two travels to Aruba I personally haven't gone but we plan to next time (honeymoon in May!)

I never ate there when I was in Aruba, but heard very good things about the restaurant. Dont miss Papiamento. It was such a romantic dinner in a yard surrounding a pool.

Re: flying fishbone in aruba
The food is good, but the atmosphere is even better. Request a table right on the water. They are all outside, but some of them are further from the water. Definitely take off your shoes, they will get sandy!!We always go later than sunset and it is so romantic at nighttime, but I can imagine being there for sunset is incredible too!
Warning, it is quite far from the resort area, it's way past the airport, so if you don't have a rental car, it may be an expensive cab ride!
