Ok Guys...
I post these randomly when fmil does something that is so insane i think its worth mentioning.

Fh and I get flowers from her today. They say congratulations on your engagement. I say to fh we have been engaged for five months... why is she sending them now??? I call her to say thank you and she says to me I wasnt going to send you anything because you were so rude to me. I said How was i rude to you.. she says you never called me to say thank you for the ring. I say You did not buy the ring for me why would i thank you?????? Her comment.... ' I gave you my son who bought the ring for you and the same way you thanked him you should thank me for the ring and thank me for giving you the perfect man' then she hung up the phone.
FH was laughing hysterically and now referring to himself as the perfect man all day.

take it with a grain of salt she prob. favors her son your FH alot. And cant deal with her now to be soon seperation from him. Things will fall into place and she soon will be happy that God blessed her son ur soon to be hubby with a wonderful woman who will be a devote wife.

all your stories are crazy!!! i feel so bad i dont understand how ppl can be like that!! but unfortunatly i too can relate.... when my FH told his mother we were getting engaged she waited till she got me alone and gave me a whole speech asking if he pressured me into it and telling me well 'its only an engagement at least it can be broken' i was so upset. she apologize after FH spoke to her but i dont know why she would say that to begin with.
