Ok Guys... I post these randomly when fmil does something that is so insane i think its worth mentioning.
Fh and I get flowers from her today. They say congratulations on your engagement. I say to fh we have been engaged for five months... why is she sending them now??? I call her to say thank you and she says to me I wasnt going to send you anything because you were so rude to me. I said How was i rude to you.. she says you never called me to say thank you for the ring. I say You did not buy the ring for me why would i thank you?????? Her comment.... ' I gave you my son who bought the ring for you and the same way you thanked him you should thank me for the ring and thank me for giving you the perfect man' then she hung up the phone. FH was laughing hysterically and now referring to himself as the perfect man all day.

OMG that's crazy!!! I can relate.
My FMIL took me to dinner to tell me how disappointed she is in me for not visiting her mother in the hospital in Westchester over a year ago when I didn't have a car!!! She told me I should have taken public transportation. FH was soo pissed at her. She also told me that boy's always go back to their mothers. I wonder if she is refering to her 38yo 'boy' who is engaged and living w/ his fiance for 2.5yrs!!

she is a crackhead. My fh is armenian, I am not I do not understand armenian and neither does any of my family. His family all speaks armenian and english. She wants me to have the mass in armenian... im like uhhh noooo not gonna happen...

maybe you should go over to her house a lay a big fat on her and thank her the same way you thanked FH!!!!! Some people are unbelievable!!!!!!

LOL!! wow, im sorry that you will have to deal with this for the rest of your lives, i know how it feels. at least you and FH can have a sense of humor that will get you through these episodes. it makes me think of Everybody Loves Raymonds Debra and Marie, lol.
