FMIL DRAMA HAS COME TO A HEAD...today's update...again

For todays update.............

FH's sister (the one who is NOT involved) called him to tell him that his mom and FSIL are not coming to the wedding, they're hurt (by what I dunno, my family did NOTHING wrong) his mom is upset that my parents to go to their parties and whatnot....are they really supposed to HANG OUT TOGETHER?!?!?!?!?!?!?....FSIL is upset that my dad told FH's mom that her son in law (FSIL's husband) is NOT to drink at the wedding after the spectacle he made of himself at our eparty (he drank 22 apricot sours and puked all over the restroom) his mom said, you can't tell him not to drink its a wedding....my dad responded....if he drinks i'll break his effing arms....and this is my dad's club and he embarrassed us, NEVER called my parents to apologize for his behavior and FMIL defends him to the end and has the audacity to tell my dad that OUR family drank at the party....HELLO MY FAMILY KNOWS HOW TO HOLD THEIR LIQUOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So instead of taking from the conversation she and my dad had of lets be civil, lets get along, let the kids be happy for one day, she takes that, tells FSIL and she pulled the whole crap with FB and the wedding, and now I could care less if they come or not, I told FH to tell her to sell her dress on ebay and stay home...granted I'm VERY angry over this, but I'm sick and tired of my family being the bad guys in all of this and FMIL being the poor poor widow with the unfortunate luck of having people pick on her, shes so perfect, nothing she does is wrong, and all she does is pull her poor-me-bull$h!t-crocodile tears-attitude and think everyone is going to forgive and forget, if she's trying to ruin my wedding, shes doing a great job, and if she wants to destroy what FH and I have, she's unfortunately succeeding, she's taking something that's supposed to be the happiest day of our lives and making us SICK.....as much as he wants her there, let her stay home, who knows what she's going to try to pull if she comes, ladies, I'm at a loss for words I really don't know what to do

Your FMIL needs to shut the f*u*c*k up and relax. She is going to end up pushing her son 'who she loves so much' away for good. Then she will kick herself in the a$$.

I am so sorry you are going through this, but honestly you probably are much better off without the crazy one there.

I'm so sorry Jenna...I really don't know what to say. I'm just sending lots of love and support, and lots of for you and your FH, parents, and everyone involved in this situation. I feel so bad for you right now. I too am in the middle of terrible family drama, and my only blood cousin, my little junior bridesmaid, is pulled out of the wedding by her psycho mother, and none of them are coming to the wedding. It's awful. I really feel you on what it's like to be caught in the middle of terrible drama. I hope things get better for you.

Oh my GOD I can't even TAKE this woman!!! I say, don't say another word about it. I feel soooo bad for you guys, and I can't imagine how FH feels. I just feel so horrible for you that this is happening.

However, I think.....

she's waiting for your call. She's waiting for you guys to call her up and say 'oh my god, I heard you're not coming!! You HAVE to come!!'

Just.....give nothing. It's done. No more calls, no nothing. If FH wants to call her, so be it, because I wouldn't stand in between a son and his mom, because if you do, there's bound to be some resentment down the road (I guess it's there already, though, so what am I talking about).

Just don't call. When it gets closer to the date, she'll realize what happened and what she's going to miss, and it will eat her up every day as she battles with herself whether or not to call you guys. It's on her now. Call her bluff and don't call. She will be fit to be tied.

I wish I could storyboard this story and make a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie out of it. Only if it turns out well. I really hope so!!!

Well as if things couldn't get worse.....

FH went to his mom's today to smooth things over, she and FSIL teamed up on him, screamed at him, down the length of the driveway and told him not to come back until MY PARENTS apologize to HER..... I'm sorry my parents treated your son like their own for 11 years, I'm sorry they've sacrificed everything they own to have a special wedding for him and I, I'm sorry that you can't get past your own petty cr@p to do the right thing for your son.....as of now, FSIL, her husband and daughter and FMIL are NOT coming to the wedding, they have a week to come to their senses, if not, I promise I will remove any trace of them from our wedding day. She told him that she was slighted at my shower (the one my parents paid for, that she did nothing for, that she came, took extra favors and a centerpiece, and SHE FEELS SLIGHTED?!?!?!?!?!?!?! HELLO WHAT PLANET IS THIS) She said my dad screamed at her and the only other person to ever talk to her like that is dead (meaning FFIL) and she didn't like that my parents didn't hang out with her after our pre cana mass (back on NOVEMBER FIRST), they left, we had dinner reservations, why does she think they need to hang out together, and she said my parents never come to her parties, HELLO YOU TALK $H!t ABOUT US ON A REGULAR BASIS, WHY WOULD WE WANT TO SOCIALIZE WITH YOU?!?!?!?!? So she wants an apology, which according to my parents will be a cold day in he!! so theres that why apologize for something you didn't do, let HER apologize to US. own up to what you did, and say two little words...I'm....Sorry, small syllables, not too difficult ya know?!?!?!?!?!? So it's her choice the ball is in her court now, if she doesn't come it's on her, FH tried to do the right thing and go over there to talk, and all those animals could do was scream at him, he called me to tell me now he has no parents... it completely broke my heart that his mother, his own mother could be that cold and calculating , and it surprises me because I always thought she loved him so much I refuse to call her, I will not get involved, I've decided that if this is how she chooses to be, I will NEVER speak to her again, and when FH and I have a family, she will NEVER be around my children, I wouldn't expose them to someone so mentally unstable, I just dunno what to do for FH, I want to fix this for him but I can't, I'm not sure what comes next.....................
