So yesterday FMIL did a really nice thing. FH had bought her this beautiful pave diamond ring when he was younger and i ALWAYS compliment her on it. So yesterday she said that she was waiting for a special time but she just was anxious and she said she wants me to have her ring. At first I was like nooo it is yours and your son bought it for you....but then FH was like no she really wants you to have it!! It is similar to my band on my e-ring just a little thicker and she was like i know you will have your own wedding band but i thought this would be nice to have as another band and since FH gave it to her she thought it was special for me to have it now...I reallly thought it was sweet...Points for FMIL!!!!!

That is sooooo sweet. My grandma gave me her wedding band which I had resized and cleaned. They said it's worth $1K - I was shocked. It has little diamonds. I'm going to wear it paired with my wedding band, like stacked.

The sad thing is my grandma is starting to 'slip' a little and didn't know it was HER ring :(

she thought it was her mom's. My mom confirmed it for me when she saw it.
