So Monday I had a half a day at work. I was going to meet FMIL for lunch. Since she is a drunk (for real) I was picking her up and she knew this. So, I walk in to her apartment and when I walk into the white bright hall way with nothing in it I notice on the wall an invite to my bridal shower thumbtacked to the wall. WHAT? First, you know I am coming over and Second why would you hang it in the hall way. So now I know where and when it is. I am so mad at her. What an idiot. I am so upset b/c my mom and sister really went through a lot to make sure I did not find out since I thought I was going to my friends shower and it is really going to be mine ( b/c it matches the date and place for the invite I got for my friend). So upset

BOO I'm so sorry to hear she ruined the surprise!!! But dont let it totally get you down. The decor of the place after your fam and friends decorate will be so beautiful and all for YOU!!! LET THAT THEN BE YOUR SURPRISE!!! But I am so sorry to hear your FMIL is an idiot!

maybe they are really trying to throw you for an even bigger loop! Maybe it is actually before that day so you will be even more shocked, and your mom and sis had this planned the whole time that you would see it?!!

And, maybe I just ruined that potential surprise?

honestly, it does suck that the surprise is ruined, but she may not have done it on purpose. Especially if she is a drunk, she may not even remember putting it there. Don't let it get to you. Its just not worth it.
