FMIL is OUTRAGEOUS
I took a BUNCH of pics on Christmas Eve and she was in one.. The one I wanted to blow up.. It was a pic of Ron, Me , my future grandparents , and all 3 of my future brother in laws, my FFIL andHER...
She has the middle Finger up on both hands in the pic..
Is she a low life or what..
Maybe comming from a 12 yr old I would laugh.. Not an adult..
And she wants me to bring my mother out to meet on SUNDAY..
She is tripping..
Sorry its been a tuff morning for me!

Re: FMIL is OUTRAGEOUS
That is awful! Honestly I think that is totally tacky. You should blow the photo up and give her a copy. Perhaps she will see what an a$$ she is made of herself.
Note: You may want to tell your photographer and videographer about her. You don't want your MIL is professional shots with that type of crass behavior.

If I was being the REAL me in front of her....I would have SMACKED her already for her behavior....
Only me..... and Mom wonders why I can't get along with her..
What do I say.. Mom she is OUTRAGEOUS, VULGAR and so EMBARASSING....
I want to protect you from her for as long as possible!

I agree that you should warn photographer & videographer about her.

Re: FMIL is OUTRAGEOUS
You may want to try to nip this behaviour from your FMIL in the bud, now - you are marrying this womans son, and will be in her company for many years to come.

Re: FMIL is OUTRAGEOUS
Teresa, definitely talk to her about the finger behavious and I agree about ending this behaviour before it starts and talking about it to the photo/video guys... YOu don't want your pictures ruined.

Re: FMIL is OUTRAGEOUS
Theresa, reading some of these posts, I do not think you should be the one to talk to FMIL about her behavior. Have Ronnie do this , only because she will not listen to you and it may encourage her to act even worse than she does now.It is obvious that you two will not be bosom buddies, but I hope that you can have a civil relationship that will be in the best interest of your marriage and any future children you may have.

Re: FMIL is OUTRAGEOUS
Wow, that is pretty outrageous. Why did she put up her finger (I'm assuming the middle one)? Was she trying to be funny?? Does the family laugh and encourage her??While I think you are right by being upset with her crass behaivor, I'd don't think it's your place to try to change it. She's a grown woman, and has probably been like this her whole life.
What you do have control over is how you react to her!
I agree with the other ladies...warn your photographer about her! And maybe have FH gently remind her that the pictures you take on your wedding day will be around for many years to come. Do you think that will make her a little more...um...considerate?
Good luck, hon. I have a feeling you're going to need it with her!!
