and manipulative. She's made me invite so many people that shouldn't have been on her side of the family. Not to mention, she isn't giving any money into the pot for the wedding. IDIOT.

If you didn't send the invites out, then don't include all of the ones she expects and lay down the law!!! You're the bride and your decision is final unless she forks over som CASH!

I feel your pain...my FMIL just keeps opening her mouth on what we HAVE to do but when I tell her how expensive everything is she flips out! I'm done getting her involved...no pay NO say!

cant some of them just be so annoying?!?! i feel your pain!
mine has lied to me about people being invited to her other kids weddings so they would 'have' to be invited to mine... and tells us people will be insulted if they are not invited and that certain people are expecting to be invited...
she pulls all the strings she can find! and believe me she finds them no matter how small! I even anticipated her telling my mom to invite certain people to my shower so that i would be forced to add them to the invite list! yaknow cause there were invited to the shower!... i think FH warned her not to even try pulling that one off!
