after making dozens of phone calls, we finally got all of our rsvps in order, and made the seating arrangements.. SO we get a call from FMIL yesterday telling us that she ' invited a few more people' because she knows we are under our minimum... how many.. well shes not sure... when are they gonna respond.. well soon she thinks... Oh excuse me, is this not a wedding we are planning... god help me

Your FMIL and mine must be friends becuase she keeps asking if she can do that too. I keep telling her that we are 50 people OVER our minimum and if she wants to pay for those people and their flowers, extra waiters, extra vallet parking people, etc she can and then she balks because it will cost her money. But she keeps asking like I am going to change my mind. Hello - I am not going to change my mind so stop asking already. (It is EVERY time we are on the phone - so 3 or 4 times a week for a month or so now).
