FMIL RANT (ohhh, its a doosey)

So I was just informed by FMIL that someone needs a new invitation sent to them. They were upset that the invite came in the husband's name, not including the wifes, which I can understand, but I was never told he was married.

So I ask why cant she call and say that they are both invited, and given the circumstances with my mother, that accidentally the name was left off?


'well, her husband ripped it up. Send them another.'


OK, am I wrong to be upset, hurt and TICKED off that I am being demanded to send another invitation to a couple that I have been waiting for 3 weeks for their RSVP, to find out 26 days before the wedding 'HE RIPPED IT UP' Who the heck does that.


I am so livid right now. If it had been a month ago, not so big an issue. 3 weeks before, being told that the invitations I HAND MADE was ripped up, and I HAVE to send another invite to them, am I wrong to be going through the roof?
