I went alone with my mom to try it on and order it and then I asked her to come back with me and my mom to see it again. I want to keep her included as much as I can

Yes, I invited FMIL AFTER I already bought the gown and I tried on headpieces and she bought my headpiece for me!!

I went dress shopping with my mom - but after I bought my dress, I brought my FMIL to the store to see it. I will prob also invite her to one of my fittings.

i asked her and my FSIL to come see it right after it was ordered...i think they liked being able to see it, and i'm not all secretive about it anyway. i love it and am having a hard time keeping it under wraps haha.

I'd intended to ask her, but I found it unexpectedly. She's seen pictures of me in it but now I have to ask her to come to a fitting to get her of FH's back.

I am very close to my MIL and she only has two sons - no daughters. So I really wanted to keep her involved in the wedding. When I narrowed it down to two dresses she came wtih us to look at them. And I think she cried more than my mom did!

My now MIL is a really sweet person - I love her a lot. So, I went dress shopping with my mom and sis first, then my MIL once, and then after the dress came in, she, mom, sis, and grandma came to see it. It was a lot of fun, and it made her feel involved, which was great, especially since she has two sons, so she would otherwise may not get to experience that.

I took my mom and grandmother when I went ot go looking at dresses I showed my FMIL a picture of the dress that I ordered and I doubt she will come to any of the fittings or cometo see my dress since she live OOT and when she comes t ovisit she goes to bingo with her s ister all the time and never really spends anytime with us

My MIL only has two sons as welll and I extended myself in little ways to let her be part of the girly stuff. I didn't ask her to go with me when I was choosing a dress because she is kind of opinionated and I didn't want to argue with her when I knew the dress I wanted, but I did take her to a fitting and she was SO happy.

My FMIL hasn't yet, but is counting on it...so I figured I'd let her see it once I’m ready to try it on again. I’d prefer not to, but I don’t want to cause any waves where they can be avoided.![]()
