FMIL vent

FMIL vent

I am really starting to have issues with my FMIL. She is so oooooo frogging annoying. I know she just wants to be involved, and part of it might be that I just don't like the way she is handling things, and every day she, or her emails, elevate my blood pressure a couple points.

Maybe its just me

Today - for example - I got an email from my brother that FMIL emailed his wife asking them where they were staying for the wedding

I can relate. My FMIL likes to be involved with everything! She hasn't been horrible but I know what she's capable of and I am just waiting.... we've already gotten into a few tiffs and it makes me sick!

Here we go again with the FMIL stories...... Mine was upset that the registry cards did not go out with the wedding invitations. I told her my sister was going to send it out with the bridal shower invites which I found was more polite. She said that 'people will just buy what they want then' implying that they would give us stuff we really would not like.

She is not helping much for the wedding and wants to know and put her mouth in everything. I love my FH so much that sometimes I just ignore everything she says but it is a struggle.

I guess I should consider myself lucky. My FMIL doesn't show any interest what so ever. At first I was hurt, Like she doesn't care that we are even getting married. But after seeing what you guys are going through. I am glad she doesn't care. Good Luck!!!!

OK I just spoke to her and told her that WHEN the inviations go out (they're going out tonight) and WHEN people respond, then we can determine where everyone is staying.

This is of course because she is planning the welcome bags. Nice idea and everything, but we have 2 1/2 months to go

Ok, let's see....my FMIL wants to sew decals on my wedding dress. DECALS!!! I want to banish her to an island where no one will hear from her until after the wedding!
