all my colors are blue hues, and the guys are wearing tan linen suits. my mom is in eggplant and step mom is most likely emerald green... WTeff. its starting already

thank god i have an amazing FSIL who told her flat out its inapprpriate and she would be totally out of line.
I told her I had no problem if she wanted to do a maroon, or dark red, but BRIGHT red is out of the question!
and of course FH is like whats the big deal who cares

she said she always wanted to wear red, but when FBIL got married 6 years ago, our BM dresses were red so she couldnt. now since she knows that Im doing Blue she thinks its ok to. NOPE. Bright Red is inappopriate for ANY wedding guest, let alone the MOG!
FSIL told her if you want to wear a red flowy dress, have your own party! (did i tell you how much i love her )

I personally dont see anything wrong with the color but the dress is a bit much for a MOG. The dress needs to be toned down IMO.

AGREED BRIGHT RED is definitely not a color to choose but I'd be more concerned about that dress too!! MOG wearing that....really?!

My SIL wore a BRIGHT Red dress to our wedding and I wanted to kill her (still do)
