ughhhh my mother wore a bright red dress to one of my sister's weddings and it wasn't crazy glam or tight (she made it herself) but I still thought it was too much - you have an awesome FSIL!

thats becayse she WAS the daughter in law before me (she is FHs SIL) so she has been through it all before with her!

She should dress HER age and I don't think this color or type of dress is. I think I might run into this problem as well. My FSIL is the opposite of yours. She wants her mother to wear something like that! I use to find it an issue but now I'm like whatever wear what you want. People aren't going to look at you and if they do they are going to say omg what is the MOG wearing? Its kind of funny.

WHOA that's a sexy mama dress! Hug your FSIL for helping you out! What a very awkward situation

That'd be obnoxiously distracting.

If she always wanted to wear red... tell her to wear red to work tomorrow.

I personally dont see anything wrong with the color but the dress is a bit much for a MOG. The dress needs to be toned down IMO.

Funny about your FSIL telling her to have her own party

Love the dress but not in red! Bright red is a little too much! I love that Robin said to pay the sales girl to say it's discontinued LOL!

She does know the paparazzi aren't going to be there right? That is a red carpet status dress.

I am sorry that you are going through this but at the same time thank you for posting it...because i was just having a bad night thinking about my FMIL and her lack of interest in our wedding. and when i read this it made me feel better that i wasn't alone in having a crazy FMIL!!!!

sometimes i dont know whats worse, having someone who cares TOO much, or someone who doesnt care at all

uggg oh well , if this is the only issue i have with her ill be happy, but its just ridic that she thinks this is acceptable to wear a dress like this!
