FMILzilla-need your help!- (sorry its long)
Just to put some prespective on things I live in East Northport (where the church is) and FH lives in Plainview. The catering hall is in Melville.
With that said, my FMIL wants to have the RD in Plainview.![]()
I tried very nicely to explain to her that it should be near the church especially since it is the night before the wedding. She started in with that she wants in Plainview at the firehouse and I flipped. Saturday was her birthday so we went to a new restaurant in town, and I didn't even like the place. It was ice cold, and very noisy and the food was alright. Not to mention it was expensive!
So anyway I let that go and the whole weekend I simmered about it, figuring I had to time to worry about it and I wouldn't let it bother me right now.
So Sunday night rolls around and I tried to be subtle in asking her to possibly pay for something for the wedding ( my mom is paying for everything but the limos and FH won't come out and ask her for the help) and she totally didn't get it. Be that as it may, she came up with the idea that we could do the c-p's in silk over the winter and to buy the flowers on Thursday and on Saturday morning have the girls could put together their own bo-ks and the guys bout.'s the morning of, and this time I let it out. I said that if we are going to spend the money on the silk, which most likely will cost about the same as the real flowers, why not just have them done by the florist? And she doesn't seem to understand thed controlled chaos on the day of and having the 4 girls that are going to be at her house getting their make-up done that morning(don't ask)![]()
make their own bo-ks is a cute idea but buying them 3 days before half would most likely be starting to fade by Sat. morning, and what happens to the 3 girls and my bo-k on the morning of? And what if something goes wrong and they don't get to finish them? I would rather hold a florist responsible for it than one of my friends or family.
Sorry this was so long I just really needed to get this out and ask, am I being unreasonable?
