I had fondue at home this weekend ( i went to lindt chocolate store and bought a small fondue ceramic set for 6.00 and all you need is a tealight!) I used the lindt candy bar with it and dipped strawberries and bananas...it was GREAT.. but what else can i do with fondue chocolate...

You can dip, popcorn, pretzels, grahm crackers. Some people do all types of fruit. You can also melt marsmallows and chees in it and dip away!!!! I love fondue

Re: Fondue anyone?
I purchased a set from Crate and Barrel with all good intentions. I think if hubby has nothing planned for v-day, we will just have to melt some chocolate and make use of the strawberries that we have. Got any recipes to share.
Suzanne another reason for you to celebrate

Re: Fondue anyone?
We do we LOVE to make steak fondue we get filet tip and make a few sauces and light some candles, and a bottle of wine. We don't use oil to cook the meat as they do in restaurants - we use cans of low sodium beef broth. It doesn't change the flavor but is much healthier than cooking the meat in hot oil (and less dangerous)...lol...he thinks it is one of the most romantic meals we have....OHHHHHH now I miss my FH b/c I never make it for just myself and since he is not here ohhhhh. where did you get the small fundue set I have been looking for one and have yet to find an inexpensive set
