Re: food for bridal party when getting ready???
keep in mind that your not gonna want to feel bloated, or get anything on your dresses.....my suggestion would maybe be a cold cut and cheese platter that you can pick on....fruit and muffins? make sure you have straws to drink with so you dont ruin makeup!

My aunt bought wraps for my cousin's wedding. It was perfect!!! Not messy at all, but he's a little tip. My aunt took bathroom towels and tucked them into the top of our dress so they were bibs. This way we could be as messy as we wanted, heh.

Great idea!!! I am going to need to either sew in a tide stick or get a bridal bib the day of the wedding

Re: food for bridal party when getting ready???
My wedding started at 2pm so my we got ready at my house early that morning. At about 10 am we had a local bakery deliver bagels and crossants (spelling?). We also had Mimosas to celebrate. DH had the men meet at his Aunts house later (at about 12) and his aunt had cold cut platters and cheese.

my dad definitely bought too much food, i told him not to. But sandwiches, wraps, mini muffin's and bagels, fruits and cheeses and a bunch of salads and a few other things i think. I actually have a pic that my friend took lol.

Re: food for bridal party when getting ready???
We stayed at a hotel the night before so we just had the breakfast that the hotel offered a few hours before the wedding. While getting ready we really had no time to snack on anything, but I had bags of diff kinds of chocolate in the room just in case anyone wanted some.

you wont be dressed until right before you leave so it will be fine lol. I ate a little while i was still in my day of hoodie and shorts. I started getting ready at 10am and didnt put dress on until about 1:30pm so there will be time. Also had a break between hair and make up and ate before i did make up.

At my friend's wedding in 2007, she just had cheese/crackers and bottled waters. It was just enough to take the hunger edge away while not stuffing ourselves. You should have some nibbles, but don't go nuts!Welcome New Vendors
