Food Tasting

I went to VYC last night and I asked about a food tasting. thye told me they only do the food tasting after you book with them. What if you dont like the food. Are all places like this??

yes, some give you your money back if you dont like the food, some charge you for the tasting and if you book with them they put that money towar the deposit. In my case Watermill dont give you a tasting at all but when you go to make payments or something they give you stuff that they are making at the moment (I always go at lunch time )

No, all arent like that... Swa Club let me taste before we booked and said i can have another tasting right before we do our menu

Brentwood Country Club told us NOT to book with them until after the showcase they had so we could be sure.. I thought that was very honest of them.. Since we were ready to book on the spot!

Douglaston let us taste the food and gave us a full tour of the kitchen.

Then we went to a showcase and had the food again.

And we get to do it again like Mazz said before we do the menu.

CLM and leonards were the only two that gave us a free food tasting before booking.

Yes, I do know of a few ppl who said they would book but only if they got a food tasting and it worked, I guess to have to be firm and show them that you are serious about booking with them.

I've heard of placing not letting you... I think that's silly. The food SHOULD sell you on the place... I know mine did!
