My wedding is in May, and I wanted to go for the food tasting in like a month.. FH thought that was way tooo soon. He said thats something that should be done 2-3 months before the wedding as our coordinator suggested when we booked . Have any of you ladies went for your food tasting yet and picked out a menu?

Re: food tasting..
we'll probably go for ours in January... after the holidays.... but I don't see a problem going earlier... the food isn't gonna change so whats the difference.... if you wanna go early, i say go for it

Re: food tasting..
I have not gone for a food tasting and have not picked my menu. FH and I discussed going for dinner since our RH has a restuarant but we have not made any plans yet.

We did our food tasting before booking - we wanted to be sure, but with Russo's you KNOW the food is good. I think it would be fine to do it sooner rather than later!

Re: food tasting..
i did my food tasting back in i think February. My contract was contigent on the tasting. i would go now. What happens if you go for a tasting 2 months before your wedding and hate the food (It probably wont happen but you never know). you will be freaking out. i would do it as soon as you can

Have not done any of that yet... and haven't thought about when we will. I would think we'd do it sometime in March for our May wedding...

Re: food tasting..
Swan Club is having a huge showcase with food/cake tasting in January, we'll just go then. Plus, we did a tasting before we booked, I wouldn't have booked otherwise!

It's never too early. We did our food tasting before we booked the hall, which was awesome

Re: food tasting..
we went for a tasting right after booking. But the menu thing we're not planning until like March for a May wedding. IMO there are just so many other things I am taking care of and looking into to book, I am happy to leave something this fun for later - like a small prize

I had my food tasting like 10 months before the wedding date. You can have it whenever.

Went to a food tasting at Leonards only a week after we booked. The food was fantastic. I def recommend going to a tasting at the first opportunity !
