food tasting..

Original post by blondie24

My wedding is in May, and I wanted to go for the food tasting in like a month.. FH thought that was way tooo soon. He said thats something that should be done 2-3 months before the wedding as our coordinator suggested when we booked . Have any of you ladies went for your food tasting yet and picked out a menu?

I wouldn't have booked a place without tasting the food. What would you do if you didn't like it? When you go in, they offer you a menu and you set up a tasting based on that menu. 2-3 months before you solidify your choices, but you should still try it for quality control purposes. Although with Russo's, they have a great reputation, you have nothing to worry about.

CLM todl us to go to one of the next ones when we booked... ut we just could not get our schedules and both sets of parents to work. We are going on tuesday actually and when i made the appointment they seemed shocked that we had not done it yet... and we still have over 7 months! i guess every place is different!

Ahh I should have went for a food tasting before I actually booked. I guess the reason it didnt occur to me was that I heard from alot of people that Russos has a reputation for great food and service, so I didnt think about it lol. Thank you ladiessssssssss!!!!!!
