Man that sounds complicated!! But I can see how it can be addicting! But it also sounds stressful trying to decide who to pick and everything!!!

oh yeah alot of research goes into this. Such as knowing if any rookies are being talked alot about and people predicting they will have an amazing year. You do have to know football well, knowing players stats and seeing who can get the most points for you. Plus you cant just pick players randomly, you'll need to have a qb, a running back and all the positions and figuring out which one will do the best for you. BUt then again the person you want might get picked before your turn to pick so you have to have back up players in mind. Then of course if a player gets injured and out for most of the season or whole season it will screw you up.

its funny bc theres fantasy magazines, theres even a show on espn about fantasy picks, its insane.

i do have to say that when dh does win money bc of it, im real happy about it and dont mind the whole thing

Denise my dear...It was Tom Brady from the Patriots that got injured and is not returning!!! Not my sexy piece of @ss Bret Favre!!!!

this morning i heard DH tell his friend that brett favre is not playing, i dont know i went by what i heard, they said it earlier on espn. Or was it brady lol, if it was brady then it shows how much dh doesnt listen to me when i speak bc i asked 'who did you say, brett favre?' and he said yeah but i wouldnt be surprised if he just answered yes without really hearing what i said

phewwwwwwww fh doesn't like footbal or baseball or any ball - not that he isn't into sports not his thing to turn the channel on and watch-

now video games and spinnin on his 1-2's and having people over is my issue (can't like i like the music part of it bc its not always but video games drive me BONKERS)

I'm in the minority b/c I actually enjoy watching sports. lol. baseball, football, hockey.. lol

however im a Draft widow year around. lol. baseball and football! right now --- both!!!!

I made a promise to myself and to DH that I wouldn't be a football widow this year!
I have been all over his fantasy website to learn his team and as of right now he is up 91-26 with the 4pm games still to go!!! He is in a big money league so I am thinking an upgraded honeymoon if he wins!!!!!

yeah i always ask dh how he is doing in fantasy and he talks to me about it. It definitely does help. The computer is also in the BR so when im watching tv he'll be on the computer next to me and talk to me about it, and i ask about his score and he tells me what place he is in all the time and about things going on.

i would never change it though. Its funny but its one of the things i do love about him, well that he is so into sports lol not specifically football. I was pleasantly surprised when he told me he plays football, until this day he still bothers me about how shocked i looked at him the night we met and he told me he had a football game that weekend, i was like WHAT you play football i guess i thought he was one of those prettyboys who dont play sports.

He plays baseball, football, was also on the track team and was real good but it interferred with his baseball playing so couldnt do it all year round. Plus he used to play soccer, and good at so many sports. I dont know but i LOOOVE that about him, its a turn on

my ex didnt really play sports and all his friends did and i would always ask him how come he doesnt go play with them lol. And its funny bc he would watch playoffs but not everyday regular games and i would yell at him to put the yankees game on, and get annoyed and say to him ' how can you not watch the game right now'

I watch most games with him, unless he goes to a friends house to watch a game like he did today and i didnt care that he went today bc we spent all day friday and yesterday together, he even asked me first if i would mind if he went, or if i had plans to do something together he'll stay home. I said no go its ok we already spent all weekend together, and hes getting back home around 7pm so not a big deal.

I like certain video games....he loves them all!!! I do cheer him on with certain ones, especially NASCAR, NFL and MLB games.

He is loving having our comp set up this football season because now I am officially his stat chick! He has no patience for the computer when he can be flicking 6 different channels!!!

We both like going to the bars for football but we are saving all we can for our dream honeymoon, so I am making steakums, wings and picked up plenty of beer!!! It's like being at the bars but saving a load of money. My BIL and nephew are headed over which is great for me, I can slip into the bed room for Bridal Sunday on WEtv !!!

Either way we can spend time together and save money by staying home...and if his fantasy team keeps it up...Jamaica will be blessed with our arrival even sooner!!!

yeah it can definitely be fun and going to bars to watch the games is alot of fun. But also like you said, staying home and making food or ordering food and making it a fun day.

when we move soon, i know dh will have the football parties at our place. Nothing wrong with having a bunch of friends over and having a good time

just an updat my DH is now in the kitchen cooking us dinner so he is forgiven!

He's into four wheeling though, and lately is into fishing which i like to do on charter boats - for fluke, bluefish, etc. Sitting at a dock waiting for something to bite, though, is quite possibly the boring-est thing in the world to me.

He works on cars non stop though, at least football I could watch with him and possibly get into ....

surprisingly that's one thing he doesn't care for - nascar! which i don't really like so I am glad. a friend of ours does formula bmw racing, he'll watch formula if it's on.

we went to some race in st petersburg - i think it was some kind of formula - sooo loud and a little boring to me - they just go around in circles!!! and yes I can say that since i've been to one!

We love that stuff. We are actually in a Fantasy NASCAR league!!! I like the engineering aspect of the cars and DH likes the driver drama...go figure
