For all that have ordered from Eyes Lips Face (ELF.com)

Have you received any magazines you haven't subscribed to? I got one last night called Working Mother. Clearly this magazine doesn't apply to me so I called the customer service and told them to stop the subscription. They said it was through ELF. First off my first name was spelled wrong on the cover, which annoyed me. Then to find out it was done through a company I ordered stuff with for Christmas ticked me off even more especially since this company is assuming I'm a working mother?

I always get a lot of junk mail, it happens whenever you order stuff online, or sign up for contests... I usually just throw it all away.

same here...I get tons of junk. i have been getting parenting magazines since I was 15. My parents were jerks about it... acting like i was hiding something from them lol At first I thought someone was signing me up for it.. but it turns out that I started getting them by signing up for a contest to win a vacation.

geez they made a big assumption about you in sending the magaziine- they should at least ask you what you want to receive. stupid marketing

I know! And when I found out who did it, I was thinking how did they spell my first name wrong? I ordered online! Jerks! lol

I've ordered from E.L.F plenty of times and never additional junk mail. I feel like they have something you click at the end of the ordering process that asks if you want free stuff sent to you....

I just assumed it was not well made since it was so inexpensive......

When I ordered it was a free Redbook subscription and you had to decline in it in check-out.

OMG...I just made the connction reading your post...I have ordered from ELF very recently and just yesterday received a magazine called working mother as well...that really annoys me!!! I will have to contact them too

I ordered from ELF last year, but never received any junk mail because of them, that I know of. A lot of times there are things on websites when ordering that you need to unclick to make sure you don't receive 'free info' from them. That stinks tho that they just pass out info like that!

thanks for sharing! i bought some stuff from elf around christmas time and i've been getting red book and some other mystery magazines, and they come to my job and make me look crazy! now i know how they are able to only charge $1 for products, they're selling our contact info too. bastards!
