Ok....here is my ongoing in my familia! We are now working on the transportation aspect of the schindig, I like to refer to as MY & FH's wedding but my parents seem to think as their wedding!!! ANYWAY....I wanted to get a party bus, my rents & FIL's are not happy bout it b/c they are worried we will get wasted b/f cocktail hour. So, they dont 'get it' and my step-mom is up my hiney about it. If you needed to explain to your parents and/or FIL's that party bus was the way to go, pls tell me how in the world you did it b/c they are driving me CRAZY!!!!!!!

my parents.....and I totally concur w/you. Whats to say they will get tanked in a party bus but NOT in a LIMO!?!?!?!??!

Seriously, you can get just as wasted in a limo! We're actually having a party bus so that we can include both our parents in on it! So they'll be riding with us in the party bus. But also, to cut down on costs. We would've gotten a limo for our large bridal party and then another limo foru our parents to ride in together. This seemed to make more sense and we can party it up in the traffic to JT. LOL!

tell them you dont want your dress to get messed up having to sit in a cramped limo the whole time... at least in a party bus you can stand...

Oh boo! He's got to be there for pictures!! I bet if he got on that party bus, he'd have a ball! LOL! My dad was actually really excited to be going on the bus! Hmmm the dress idea is a good excuse, too. Maybe explain to him that it would mean a lot to you for him to be with you after the ceremony. And then they can make sure you're not ding keg stands on the bus or anything.

Unfortunately we won't have time to stop at a second location for pics. (We'll be doing a day after shoot instead!) We're going right to the RH for pictures, but I think even if I did do a second location I'd want my parents to be in at least a FEW of them and I know my mom would want to at least be there if not in the pictures.
