For anyone looking in hicksville under $400K

I came across this big house in Hicksville. I like it....Too bad I am not in the market right now though. How is Hicksville?

This house was built in 1924 plus it is on a very major road. You can do much better in Hicksville with a quieter street and newer house for less than 400K. I know the area.

Whats wrong with a house that was built in 1924? I love the older houses....Is hickville a good area though?

I did not say there was anything wrong with an older house, but from my experience you have to deal more with cracked pipes, house settling, things not being up to code, etc, then a newer one.

Some parts of hicksville are very very nice, other not. This is the not so nice part. It is very industrial near this house.

Just trying to help.

My point being, you can get a much nicer and better loctaed home in Hicksville then this one.

There are nicer parts of hicksville and ones that are a little less nice. depending on how much work has to be done i think its a nice home for the money.

I live in Hicksville and I love it here
Personally i think that is a good price it has 3 full baths

We only have 1 bath and our house appraised for $369k it needs a lot of work we just put all new windows in and we still have to do siding but 400k is a good price

p.s. how do you know what street it is on I didnt see the address?

The address is 173 Plainview Rd. One of my colleagues is the listing agent. It is a beautiful house inside and it has a nice size back yard.
