For anyone with about one year to go...

What are you currently working on? So far I have: venue/date, photographer, band, my dress and working on STD's. What is everyone else working on that isn't crazy far in advance at one year (like I feel hotel/limo might be too far in advance right now).

For anyone with about one year to go...

I am 16 months out and I have my venue/photographer/videographer and my band. I bought my bridesmaids gifts because I am going to ask my girls at my Engagement party in August to be in my wedding. I also did my hotel blocks because I didn't want to be bothered with that and booked my hair people too. I am going dress shopping on good Friday for my first run around and to find my maid of honor and mom their dresses. I still have to:
Register for gifts/get my bridesmaids together for dress shopping/find a makeup person/decide if I am making my centerpieces myself or going to a florist and buy the groomsmen their gifts. I'm sure I am missing something I cant think of at the moment. I feel like I am still far out but slowly knocking things off the list. The more I get out of the way now the less stress I'll have running around later.

I'm almost 17 months out and I have:
Venue
Photo
Video
Dj
Flowers
Hotel block

The hotel block we wanted to lock in 2015 rates before they went up so it didn't hurt to do it early and we didn't have to leave a deposit or anything, it was just signing a contract.

For anyone with about one year to go...

We are 20 months away. (That still sounds so long!) so far we have booked:
Venue
Church
Photo/video
DJ
Save the dates are currently a work in progress
I'm starting to look into/buy candle decorations, escort cards, favors, etc.
My to do list is in the following order
Flowers, hair/make up, limos, dress, hotel being what we book at the one year mark. We want to have everything major booked by a year away so it would just be small things left to budget for.

Were 19 months away! And were so excited about getting all the major checks off our list. Never to early to do anything! So far we have:
Church
Venue
Photo/video
DJ
Just set up our engagement shoot to get started on printing the Save the dates.
Next were going to floral appointments and limos.
So excited to keep checking things off!
