Okay, I am posting the things I did that my guests LOVED!!!

We did the:

1. Votive placecards

2. Polariod guestbook (I love this!!!! This is one of my most cherished items!!!)

3. A collage of pictures which was A BIG HIT!! These pictures included the majority of guests at our wedding, they loved seeing these pictures if themselves (pictures included pictures of Phil and I, our friends, me and my MOH at prom, our parent's weddng pictures, me and my siblings growing up, Phil and his sister, me and my college friends, Phil and his collage friends etc...)

Every Loved the picture of Phil with long hair.
Everyone loved the picture of my mom at my age now. We look so much alike. It was such a big hit and it made our guests feel included.

3. The casual day picture that the guests signed

4. Our menu

5. Our CD as favor.

Hi! I was a guest. We signed the matting around the casual day picture--there was definitely enough room, and I didn't sign it right when we went in. Guests signed throughout the night, so there was never much congestion.

For the photo books, 2 women took pics of all the guests outside during the cocktail hour. About 1/2 hour after taking our pics, she came back with the pics in a book and asked us to sign by our pic. I believe she got to everyone during the cocktail hour, as I think there were 100 guests or so (1 signed per couple).

I didn't make them. Laura from LA Productions did them for me. She is a vendor on here.

I supplied her with the votives and the tealights and she did the rest.

I was going to try to make them myself, but I had eye surgery about 6 weeks before my wedding and I was overwhelmed.

The reception hall supplied it. I didn't even ask for it, they just did it.

Can you send me directions also... I LOVE everything you shared. My fiance is always about doing things different... We were already doing the votives (doing them myself) and I love the idea for the menus do share...

Your ideas are wonderful! I am already doing the votive placecard holder and putting some pictures of FI and me around the hall. I love the Polaroid guestbook idea. Your wedding looked beautiful!

Peabody - beautiful idea's and thanks for posting.

Would you mind if I asked what kind of paper you printed the menu's on. I'm going to do something similar and am wondering if you had to print on photo paper or whether regular paper was sufficient.
