For Brides to Be - Ways to Personalize your Wedding (WITH PICS)
Original post by peabody
Okay, I am posting the things I did that my guests LOVED!!!
We did the:
1. Votive placecards
2. Polariod guestbook (I love this!!!! This is one of my most cherished items!!!)
3. A collage of pictures which was A BIG HIT!! These pictures included the majority of guests at our wedding, they loved seeing these pictures if themselves (pictures included pictures of Phil and I, our friends, me and my MOH at prom, our parent's weddng pictures, me and my siblings growing up, Phil and his sister, me and my college friends, Phil and his collage friends etc...)
Every Loved the picture of Phil with long hair. Everyone loved the picture of my mom at my age now. We look so much alike. It was such a big hit and it made our guests feel included.
3. The casual day picture that the guests signed
4. Our menu
5. Our CD as favor.
I am adding pictures of each item.
If you have any questions please feel free to FM me. I hope this helps all you future brides. Have fun planning, it's worth it!!!

Hey, weren't the candles hot? How did the guests pick them up and carry them to their tables?

You should use tea lights instead of votive candles...its a big difference and not hot.

I love looking at this because I'm a Timber Point bride too!
But I have a question about the votive escort cards--they're really escort cards, right, as you had them all on one table, not by their chairs? Anyway, did you have them lit? Did people have problems picking up lit votives? Like being hot or dripping wax?
And I have another question in general about Timber Point if you're here--how many votives do they provide, and do they keep them lit and replace them if they go out?
