I don't mean to sound sarcastic, but I think they call it promotion? It's been done before.
I recall when I was younger that Rocky III opened on Christmas and it was free admission.

I think its nice they are giving free tix, they obviously are doing it so more people will 'know' Christ. IMO they must think if they give someone a free tix it may educate or save someone who is lost.

Great idea....I'm sure alot of church youth groups will use that since their budgets are limited
Hopefully everyone doesn't a get a free ticket, Mel has to make back his 25 million.

haha yes but Rocky III they didnt hand out bibles and it wasn't a church who gave out the tickets.

me too. FI mentioned to me last night that he actually wants to see it. I did not think that he would want to go but I am excited to hear that he wants to go and see it too.

I have plans with my girlfriends from high school to see it next week. We all went to Catholic School and are comfortable enough around each other to watch this movie and discuss it afterwards.

I understand what you are saying since I sometimes can't take too much violence in a movie.
In reality what happened to Christ wasn't pretty. I am planning to go but I probably will have to cover my eyes a whole bunch of times. lol

They didnt say, they take your name and address and work phone number but they mail the tix - I guess they can be used whenever you can go?
