ON our honeymoon we ate at this argentinian steak place...it was sooooo good!
They must've marinated the steak in something and then grilled it, but they gave us this sauce to put on top when we ate it..
the girl told me the ingredients:
chopped garlic (a lot..maybe even a whole head) chopped basil chopped oregano chopped parsley olive oil
mix it all together and then put some on your steak!! YUM!
just make sure to brush your teeth after!!

Oh crap - I know what that's called and can't remember. But yeah, it's good on grilled steak.
I just remembered - I think it's chimichurri.

yummy, I love garlic!! I've also had dill butter over steak and thats yummy basically it's just dill mixed with butter and you just scoop a round ball onto your cooked steak and it just melts all over it and it tastes really good.

Sounds great - I have to try it
But I have one question - do you marinate the steak with it or do you put it on top of your steak after it is cooked, like a gravy?

i would say marinate it first, if not in the garlic, then with some kind of seasoning and then use the garlic mixture after its cooked!
