Is it better to go as a group, or just w/ your FH?? We are trying to plan a vacay for early 08, but are getting mixed reviews...thanks!

I've only done a cruise with FH and I alone and I had a wonderful time. I have heard great things about group cruises though.. and it does sound like fun. Its a toss up!

i've done cruises with fh and with a coworker and her family.. i enjoyed both.. when i was with the coworker we met up for breakfast and dinner and did our own thing during the day.. when i was with fh we spent most of hte day togehter but also gave each other space and time to do stuff solo around the boat..
so il ike both..

Even though we are going on one for our honeymoon, I would still recommend going with a group over going alone. You will have a great time regardless but going with a group just makes the entire trip so much more fun. you can do excursions together, go to shows together, etc etc. if youre looking for a great time with friends, this is it. if you're looking for a more romantic get away, then going alone is fine too.
totally agree I've done both, and still had the best time. DH and I just came back off a cruise (just the two of us our honeymoon/1st anniversary cruise) and we had a blast. You'll meet our couples on the ship to have fun with, I promise.

I see there are so many responses so mine is prob a repeat but...
FH & I have done 2 on just us... and 1 with a group of friends... While its nice to be alone, on a vacation, I think we both had more fun being with a big group.... We had 9 of us on our last cruise and while some people can get on your nerves after being in ther same place together for a week.... its nice to have everyone together and go on excursions and not have to ask strangers to take pics of you 2.... or better yet, have a bunch of pics of just either Fh or you in the pic

I heard Princess was supposed to be a nice 'couples' kinda cruiseline... maybe i'm wrong... But if you dont want to be around kids, that most likely equates to going on the old fogie cruises... LoL It def counts out the 3 biggies... carnival, royal carib, and norwegian

FH and I went on a cruise to the eastern caribbean and we did have an amazing time but we did keep saying how much fun it would be if a large group of our friend had went. I definitely say try and get a group together

I'm 100% into the idea of going with a group. Either way you end up meeting people but wouldn't you rather most of the people you surround yourself with are friends.

totally agree ive gone as a group 3 times FH and I are going for our HM too but it is so much fun with a bunch of people
