I want to get this for FH but I'm afraid people will leave the dance floor to get a cigar then go out and smoke it... how did it work for everyone?

My mom is planning on doing this at my wedding for a surprise for my dad and my FH - we were going to have it during the VH so its at the end of the night anyway

We had one during the VH as well and it worked out great--it was a huge hit with our guests.

la rosa has packages that range from 400-600 an hour depending on how many cigars you want.

we had one, and everyone stayed inside...most guests will end up taking them home...you'd be surprised - many people don't even smoke them and took two/three....as long as it's free!
we used La Rosa Cubana (larosacubanacigars.com) and they were the cheapest out there.

We are having them come for the cocktail hour. So our guests will most likely smoke during that (I know FH and I will ).

We are using Cigar Roller They are a little bit more money than the one listed above ($100) but they hand roll all 150 cigars at the event. It is a roller and an assistant.

Lisa--you read my mind...I was just thinking about getting a cigar roller and wondering if people would leave. We asked a bunch of my guy friends who all think its a great idea though.

I had La Rosa Cubana at my wedding as a surprise for my husband and everyone loved it. I waited till after the cake cutting for the cigar roller to come out and it worked out very well. I just got my proofs back and there are so many cute pics with my friends and the cigar. I didn't even think of that when I booked them. The one of my husband and I with cigars hanging out of our mouths was hysterical!

I decided to have the cigar rollers during the Cocktail Hour, because it gives the option to smoke whenever they want. I figured that if people wanted to spoke after dinner, they would. I used a company out in Massapequa.

we went with LA ROSA CUBANA... they were GREAT!!!!! one of the few vendors that didn't give me a headache!!
they were a surprise for dh! we had them set up right after we cut the cake... this way we had: cake, coffee, and cigars.
i'm half cuban half dominican... so it was perfect tie in. (cuban seed, grown in the dominican republic)
we had a semi-outdoor wedding... so people were still part of the festivities while being 'apart' to smoke.
