For girls who worry if they will have enough $$

What is your plan if 2 months or so before you don't think you will have enough to cover.

I'm so worried about this because I said I didn't want to put anything on our CCs but I'm not sure if that is possible now??

Or am I the only one in that boat?

ummm me I am in complete panic right now since FH is waiting to hear about a new work opportunity so Im the only one forking over funds right now. Im still hoping for my xmas bonus, a generous tax return like last year and my school refund.

We're going to know after we figure out how much money on taxes we're getting back if we need a plan 2. The way we have it planned out now we should hopefully be fine, but by February we should know and then we need to come up with plan 2!

My credit card is offering me interest free cash transfer from my CC that I can pay off within a few months - I figure if it comes down to the wire, we'll use that and then pay it off right after the wedding.

Yeah, I really hope we don't need to either but we really splurged on our honeymoon, so now we're trying to save more than we originally anticipated to make up for it. I'm crossing my fingers for a good bonus and a wedding present from Tax man!

I've been trying to gather all the costs and budget each month... After we book our florist then I'll get my planner and set a goal...

I am a little worried but our original budget is proportionate to saving each month...

Maybe you can set small goals??

right now it's a whole lot of prayers! and hoping FH's new business works out!

how are you girls using CC??

I know a lot of vendors don't take CC...especially the RH?

my first goal is to get cash for the RH and cash for tips...we made out our 2nd check for RH today

part of photo and video isn't due until after the wedding so that is good

I'm using a credit card that gives us miles...and money back. My fiance got the card a long time ago and he got 300$ off when we went on a cruise together. IT's American Express. Were not putting everything on the card but its good to know that if we put some on we get stuff back.

We are going to take out a pension loan if we fall short.

That way we only owe ourselves the money and it comes out of our paychecks every week

I'm only using credit cards for smaller purchases and not any of the vendors - i.e. channa plaque, jewelery, etc.

We have pretty much stuck to the budget of money we have. It is just tips and if we have more guests than we are expecting!

I have plenty in my savings, but I'm hoping that when I sell my apartment furniture, we can cover tips!

I don't even wanna think about it!!!! but even thoug we hate cc bills, it is a last minute resort...thank goodness!

ditto. if we cant afford it now, there is no guarantee that we will in the future.. i dont wanna start my marriage in any type of debt ( big or small). plus since its a one time affair, i dont need a constant reminder on my stmts after the wedding

I am in a panic about this. Had a dream that I didnt have money the day of the wedding to pay vendors.

So far I have been working as much overtime as possible, and trying to get a second job.

I have not put anything on CC. I refuse to do it. I rather just work extra and pay it off now. Plus me and FH are hoping to buy a home within a year of getting married so I dont want to have alot of debt.

Hpefully once we do our taxes we can see our refunds and hope that it will hold us over to the wedding.

I just hope that come wedding day I get alot of checks and cash from guests.
