Yes, you can write off IRA maintenance fees and brokerage account fees too. Those are the killers if you are charged a commission each time you buy or sell a stock.

As for donations, I always make donations by check so I have a receipt (i.e., church). My church sends out tax forms in addition to quarterly statements. I also made donations to charity through a payroll deduction so I can write all that off as well.

Too bad we aren't getting married in church Oh well, thanks for the tip anyway! Keep them coming
