For the first time in 14 years...

It was a VERY long time coming but an incredible feeling to pay off my last credit card. After a crap year, I needed something good!

CONGRATS!! Isn't it a wonderful feeling? It's like a great weight has been lifted!

The only thing better is the first time you apply for something big and are told you are approved because you have GOOD credit!!

Don't worry about FH too much. We are in the same boat, with a 5-figure school loan over our heads. I know it's not going away tomorrow but we can chip away at it as much as possible.
