Who has them? Who wants them? Are they worth it? What do you do with them after the wedding?

I think this one is $130 + shipping... i am hoping to sell it after the wedding because it's expensive
edited because the pic is too big to post... in my 'wedding ideas' album...

Are you not getting it monogrammed or embroidered so you can sell it after?

Re: For the Modern Bride
I ordered mine a couple weeks ago. I got the 3 present card box, without monogramming. It was $100, which I didn't think was too bad. It will be easier to sell it after the wedding since there wont be any personalized details on it.

Re: For the Modern Bride
I got mine from someone on LIW. She was giving it away for free (she made it herself)! After my wedding, I plan on passing it along to someone for free so look out for that after my wedding!

Re: For the Modern Bride
I'm getting one.
Yes, it's a splurge, but my mom saw it online and she wanted to get it for me as a present.
I won't be selling after the wedding, it is a keepsake.

I got one. They are ridiculously expensive but yet another thing that I just had to have once I saw it. I'm getting a 4 box with our monogram on it.

Re: For the Modern Bride
I didnt want to spend a lot of $$ on an item I wouldnt use again so it you have no sintimental ties to an item such as this, I would suggest renting one. That is what we are doing; reasonable price. We are renting from: The Invitation Station/Sweet Nut Hut in Deer Park:
The Invitation Station/Sweet Nut Hut 1938 Deer Park Avenue Deer Park, NY 11729
Talk to Cathy.
Definately check it out! Good luck!

Re: For the Modern Bride
Bought mine from a '10 bride passing it on. Totally worth it...I love it and I plan on passing it on to a new bride when I'm done with it
I like the idea, but its not a make or break point for me. I'm either gonna attempt to DIY it....but more likely, i'm going to buy the one that you can make into a display case after the wedding. I've seen it on the site before and i think they are beautiful and you can use it after the wedding!
Someone is actually seeing one for $40 here (usually they are around $70).
