There is nothing wrong with DanielleRenee's work. I WAS VERY HAPPY after my trial with her, the only issue for me arose when I got the pictures developed. I give more credit to the photos than what I saw in the mirror (since once the wedding is over, all you have to look at is pictures), which is why I wanted to look elsewhere.

I have upset DanielleRenee by things that I have said, since I did not previously discuss them with her, and I want to publicly make an apology. She is a very sweet person, a competent make-up artist, and someone who I had a very nice time with. It was not my intention to post any negative feedback about her work. Anyone who is using her will NOT be disappointed.

Please don't have a bad impression of her because of anything that I said (or what anyone else said, for that matter). It's all a matter of preference. And as some people said, the camera and lighting really do make a world of difference. I regret any 'bad press' that she may have received on my part, and I hope we can put it behind us and focus on happier times to come.

me neither! because obviously words can be miscontrued into malicious attacks, when they are in fact just idle comments or a bride venting... not to be taken personally...

If you look at Aileens posts she is mainly (in most of the posts) raving about Danielle Renee (or just Danielle in one post). There aren't many other posts from this person about anything else....

Yup, that looks suspicious alright. Unless it could be a good friend of hers just trying to get her name out?? No harm in that.

Anyone can read our posts, and many vendors do read them. However vendors are only allowed to post under the vendor board.

we are a community of brides/newlywebs/moms that are here to give honest opinions. and they are nothing more than opinions. some of us have different likes and dislikes. it is unfair for ANY vendor to comment on our posts in any way. should she have said it was the best ever, if in her opinion it wasn't? NO! I think we all count on each other's honestly. so to the vendor who felt it necessary to make a bride feel bad about a post- shame on you! you have no right to say anything.

Michele, I completely agree in every way. After I made my post I got an email from the vendor that I reviewed honestly and fairly.

I believe that if a vendor is to email ANYTHING, not that they should, it should be a free trial to make amends- No one should recieve a nasty FM to make you regret a review.

I think it is wrong for a vendor to speak to anyone about their opinion of how they feel about something they did. If the person does good work it will sell itself. I do not like that at all. Why would LIW even send her the page via email. If you go for a trial and don't like it you are entitle. If 200 other people go after you and like her, would she have the same reaction. If you are a business person you have to be able to take the good with the bad, does not mean you are a bad makeup artist, just means this time the connnection was not made.
