how long will you be doing the apt thing?

fh and i were talking last night ... and if all goes according to plan.. we will be keeping our condo for 5 years (4 after the wedding)

by then we will probably have a baby ( i guess ) and will need to search for a

btw he wants to move to LI....but i will always be a jersey girl at heart

w/ the wedding money + my bonus we could buy an apartment in NYC early 2011, but we're not sure if that's what we want to do. We might buy a cheap beach house first and still rent in NYC...who knows!?

wow I see I am the only one who never wants to own a house. interesting.
I want to live in an apt for the rest of my life. each time getting bigger one. the most I will get is a townhouse. but that is even very iffy. took me actually a long time to convince FH for this

I want to stay at the current apt for a yr after the wedding tops, hopefully moving into our own apt at the end of the current lease

Same here....we dont want a House. Were looking into Condos & Co-Ops...our Goals is to find smthing is 5yrs. We arent in a rush, our rent is dirt cheap now...so were saving.
