For those having a Band . . .

How much are you tipping them ??? We have a 9 piece band!!

I could use this info too. We have a 10 piece band. FH and I were just talking about this and we really have no idea!

We had a 10 piece band. When we asked our bandleader, he told us to tip 5% of the entire band's bill and he divided amongst all the members. Ask your bandleader. Each band does things differently.

I am having a 10 piece band. I was on the phone with the leader and we were talking about the wedding. I asked her how much they usually get tipped. She thanked me for asking her and for being so honest. She said that since we were feeding them, that $300-$400 would be very generous and not to give more than that.

$300-400 for all 10 members? So you can just give them an envolope with 'Tips' you dont have to do it individually?
