Do any of the online sites with listings give the address of the home? I think location is most important....not just the picture. (and towns are very big) thanks for your help
They don't generally give the address, but many of the listings on Realtor.com have a mapping option. It doesn't usually give the name of the road the house is on, but it often has the surrounding roads, so with a good map you can get a good idea of the location, and see if it's on a major road or near train tracks.
If you hook up with a realtor, they can send you the MLSLI listings with addresses. I don't think they are necessarily allowed to do that but we found it extroadinarily helpful when house-hunting.
