my best friend called me first at 6am before telling her own MOTHER! and I was truly honored....and she will be the first to know as well.....

After that - I will tell my parents and sister together - in person!

First will be DH!! After that will be Mom, then FIL, then my dad and stepmom over the video phone (they live in Florida), then my brother, then SIL, followed by the rest of the world because all the above mentioned people I listed have BIG mouths!!

My mom and then grandparents. They are dying to become great-grandparents!

Of course, first DH. We might try to wait a while before we tell parents... being that I'll be over 35. Then my Dad. It will be his first grandchild and he's been through so much since his stroke etc. then his parents. Oh, and my best friend then no-one else. I'm superstituous about this due to my age and my mom having problems conceiving me. I don't want to tell anyone else until 1) I'm puking like crazy and can't keep it a secret or 2) I start getting much bigger.

My sister first... my parents have both passed. The my aunt, and close family, we all get together once a month , then his brothers and my MIL. She has the biggest mouth and she told us not to tell her till she was the last to know becuase of this. Then our friends.

I think I would tell my husband first and then my two best friends. I would wait till I got the OK from the doctor that the pregnancy is going well before I tell my in-laws and my parents.

obviously my DH. Then probably my sisters, then my parents, then my friend Beth (bxgell2), then my other friends.

i am a little sketchy on this because of my medical history and how much my DH wants a child. I would probably tell my cousin Lauren and best friend d first. After i got a clean bill of health from the OB i would then tell my DH and then after i made it through the first trimester i would then tell my family. I have been told that i may have a hard time keeping a baby and i would not watn my DH to get his hopes up and then his heart broken. Maybe i am being selfish but things might change when i actually get PG.

I would tell my 2 really good friends first and then wait till the 1st trimester is over to tell everyone else.

ETA: Of course my DH would know b4 anyone else
