I think it is a great idea, but you have to cater to many different people with different tastes. I have received two as gifts. The first one was not really my taste but they put their first dance, and dances with parents on there as well, so I thought that was very personal. The second one was more my style. I still listen to it. You can be very creative and I believe it is fairly cheap.

I think even if someone doesnt like the songs whats the difference from that or a little chachie that sits on the shelf and collects dust?

I thought it looked kind of cheesy, but hearing all your reviews of it, maybe it's not so bad. I would likely give it away as an extra though, with something else too. The price of CD-R's is so cheap, I don't think it would be too expensive. Maybe print out 1 cd label and jacket at home then take teh rest to kinko's and get color copies.

I got one recently for the first time..ANd hated all the songs on it.

But i think they are the exception...

I got one at a wedding and the songs listed were pretty good and i couldn't wait to listen to it but to bad our cd didn't work. It would have been a great favor if the cd actually worked.
