Was it a major adjustment moving in together...we are not moving in until we get married BUT this is a huge fear of mine that it will be a horrible adjustment

i just moved into his condo less than two weeks ago. it's definitely been an adjustment but honestly i am so glad we are going thru this now. i've moved several times before (back and forth in college) and i know it takes me time to adapt to new living conditions. he's been patient with me and i'm really trying not to freak out becuase stuff is still all over the apartment. we've been slowly reorganizing and i know eventually i'll be settled.
honestly, i don't think it matters when, meaning at which point you move in together, the bottom line is you are making a life together and will figure out a way to make the living condition work. don't think about it too much, it'll all just fall into place.

Fh and I have been living together almost two years -july17th we moved in ...
I wont lie, it was an adjustment for us too... We were used to being together most nights because i stayed at his parents or he stayed at my apartment where i lived in college but still very different...
what he found the hardest was having veen less time with family and friends, because as much as we would like to think that wont happen, it does...and since he never lived alone, that was something he took time adjusting to...it all worked out
you may have some silly arguements in the beginning, but overall i would say it is/was the most amazing time of our life... it is exciting and there is a sense of security and love because we wake up together and have eachother there all the time when we need it

we have been living together since march of 2003. we moved in together the week after our engagement party. it has been a total blast. we have our little tiffs but no major problems yet.

I moved in with my FH 2 years ago. I love it. There have been good and bad times. However, we stuck it through and we wouldnt want to be away from each other for more than a day. I love love love cuddling with him at night. U do have to get used to some things though so just be prepared for that.

We've been living together about 1 year and there really wasn't a major adjustment. He moved into my place and the only things that we had to work out was the chore-sharing. I work 2 jobs and refuse to do all the housework. It's all fifty-fifty. It works out great!
