Paper Access in NYC is worth the trip in. They have a great selection of papers, sizes, colors, weights etc.. I have yet to find a good paper store in LI.

You can also try Pearl Art Supplies -- I know there's a location on Hempstead Tpke in East Meadow. Just make sure that whatever you get will fit through your printer -- and won't smear if you have an ink-jet..Personally, I just stole some nice paper from work.... What can I say, I went overboard on some things & super-cheap on others...

I also went to Paper Access in the city.

I've read a few times here 'to use good paper'. Can some help me understand what qualifies as 'good' paper? Are cardstocks good?I am totally clueless on this.....
Thank you.

I like Kate's Paperie in NYC. It's a great place with an amazing assortment of colors, textures and styles.

Re: For those of you making menus, programs etc.
kate's is a little pricey, but the customer service is great - they really help you with everything. There are expensive - really expensive things, but they have more affordable options. They will help you find exactly what you need.Plus it's really neat in there. But beware - you will leave buying things you didnt' mean to! If you go there (it's in Soho) you can go to Sephora next door for a new lipstick.....that's what I did!
