Did you go to a Dept. Store makeup counter, was it a refrreral, etc?

She did my makeup for my wedding.
She was AMAZING! From her personality to the job she did. I looked great! My makeup was awesome!

I have 2 really good friends who both work at MAC in roosevelt field and they all pretty much do makeup freelance. I can give you there #'s if you wanted!

I was planning on buying MAC to use and apply myself for the day. Would you mind sharing the info with me so that I can give them a try. Do they work weeknights or onlyi weekends? Trial at the counter or private? Sorry so many questions. TIA

Mine is another stylist from my salon (been going there for 13 years). He doesn't do too many weddings, mostly runway work for modeling shows.

I'm using a girl at the local hair salon I go to. She was actually in the same pre-cana class as me. At the trial she picked the prefect colors for me and it lasted forever! Even though it's salon-priced make-up, it's still cheaper than the vendors on LIW.

Well, this won't help you much, but I asked my cousin's wife to do my hair and makeup. She is a beautician, and she's going to do a wonderful job. Plus, it's an early afternoon wedding, so it will be nice to chat with her over room service breakfast.
