We decided to throw a Cruise into the mix for our mini-moon... maybe like a 5 or 6 night cruise out of Florida...

I was on Carnival (can't recall the ship name) I was on Serenade of the Seas (RC) LOVED it... I was married on the Voyager of the Seas (RC) and honeymooned with my family and a few friends.. (I am widowed, and that was my first marriage..LOVED it...)
I think cruising is fab..I just don't go on any school breaks...

We cruised Celebrity for our HM. We were definitely in a 'rare' age group.....most people were either older or they were families. Not many HM'ers.
But as for the cruise itself, it was AWESOME. The food was amazing, entertainment was great, staff was excellent. We had two formal nights, and both nights I wore sun dresses and DH wore a suit and tie.

we just went on Norwegian's Dawn (1st time cruisers) and it was awesome!!!! food was excellent and nonstop

i've been on serveral carnival and royal carribbean cruises.
royal carribbean over carnival a million times. carnival is way family/kid oriented and not nearly as fancy.
i have heard AMAZING things about celebrity though.

Royal Vision of the seas Royal Explorer of the Seas Norwegian Spirit Norwegain Dawn
My parents just took a cruise on the Norwegian Jewel out of NY and they had the best time. Even ate double lobster tails on lobster night! Yummmmm
All I had fun on but the food on the Royal Explorer was hit or miss. JMO We also went on that cruise during the recession though.

I've been on 5 Carnival cruises and going on my 6th for our 1st Anniversary. Loved them all! I've never tried any other line so I can't comment on those. I've just enjoyed my Carnival cruises so much and you can't beat the price. One day I'd like to try another line, if the price is right.
I've been on:
Carnival Sensation (2x) - last one was a 4 day to Bahamas out of Port Canaveral.
Carnival Miracle - went once out of Tampa and we're going on it again in September out of NY - 8 day to Bahamas/Grand Turk
