For those that hate Olive Garden

I see in the few posts we have about bad eats that Olive Garden is always mentioned. Just wondering, what is soo horrible about it? If you could change one thing there to make it better what would it be?

If anyone ever has a bad experience with olive garden, go onto their web site and send a complaint email!!!

In college a bunch of us girls went out, and everything that could go wrong when going out to eat did... it was AWFUL!! SO when i got home, i was still super mad, i got online, wrote a super nasty, yet well thought out email... well a couple of weeks later, guess who got a $200 giftcard in the mail!!! and the best thing was, that we didnt even use it at the olive gargen, we used it at Bahama Breeze, which is like the banana republic of the olive garden companys... and much nicer restaurant (not sure if they have them up here, it was in fla)

hahha after I posted this and everyone kept mentioning the salad and breadsticks, I went and had lunch there.
Helps when yoU get a 25% discount

I think I'm one of the few people who genuinely enjoys going to the Olive Garden!! I love the breadsticks and salad, and I have a few favorite entrees that are always good. I just hate the long wait times there.

i guess i dont like it because i grew up in a real Italian family. My dads family was right off the boat. my great grandma made their pasta and bread by hand. Olive Garden is in no way comparison to any place or food in Italy..i am not knocking anyone that likes it.. Im just giving an opinion as to why i dont care for it...

There was one near my college upstate that was good. But the one in Centereach tastes like Chef Boyardee...if I wanted that, I would have gone to the supermarket and bought a can of Beef a Roni...

I grew up in a house with an Italian grandmother so, it's just not real Italian food to me. It's like saying Pizza Hut is real pizza. I think the Olive Garden is ok. If someone was having a birthday there I would go and get the alfredo sauce (I barely ever eat red sauce out). But I would never turn to DH and say let's go to Olive Garden tonight. If I'm going to spend $20-30 on Italian food I want it fresh.

I don't think there's one thing to do that would make it better for me. I just don't care for it.
