For those that have pillow top mattresses

For those that have pillow top mattresses

I am trying to register for bedding right now, and FH just bought us a new bed with a pillow top mattress.

Our regular sheets make it over the top, but you can tell we need bigger sheets or special sheets for the bed to fit it properly.

Is there a name for this type of sheet? Or should we be okay if we order King size sheets if the bed is a Queen?

i think you can just get extra deep sheets- they sell them pretty much everywhere.... or, getting king size probably isn't a bad idea either.... for us, its with our comforter- we wish we had gotten a king sized comforter for the queen size bed, because i would like the comforter to hang down a little lower on the sides... oh well

You have get deep pocket queen sheets.

Trust me I know NOW after ripping a pair trying to stretch it to fit my mattress.

i think just look for deep ones. i dont think king ones will fit it right.

QVC sells excellent sheets made solely for that purpose. They're called Northern Nights. I know you technically can't register for them but they're worth looking into. Not only do they fit over pillowtop mattresses/feather beds but they are SOOO soft!

I have a pillowtop and I use regular sheets. No problems to date.

I use deep fitted sheets. The regular ones never seem to fit right.

we have a pillow top (so comfy) and have both regular and the deep sheet sets. the deep ones are easier to get on... you need 2 people to get the regular ones on. its a bit of a fight.

I have a thick mattress but a lot of sheets are now made deep due to the influx of the thicker mattresses.

I didn't have to look for deep sheets, the sheets I bought for my king bed fit perfectly.

This is the same mattress we bought!!

I have a pillowtop on both sides as well. get deep fitted sheets, they fit great, no need to struggle

I got my deep pocket sheets at Bed Bath and Beyond. They fit perfectly.

I have a pillow top also. I bought the deep pocket ones and they fit perfect....until I put them in the dryer and they shrank, lol. I SWEAR I washed them on cold and dried them on Low, lol. I hate laundromats.
