can you please think back to three weeks before your wedding...
tell me - what did you feel like? What was your life like?
Things are crazy for me right now in all areas of my life - and I am just kind of looking for some reassurance that what I am going through right now is normal.
Did you feel stressed, happy, sad, touchy, crazy? I dunno - please share!!!

I felt all those things... the last few weeks were just a big rush to get everything done.. On top of that- I had just started a new semester AND we moved in together like 2 weeks before... so I was crazy, sad and VERY emotional

All very normal. You are totally going through a drastic change in your life and change can sometimes be very hard. There are things that are so trivial that will make you feel emotional. I tried to remain calm in the last few weeks and not stress on everything. I had to actually remove myself, emotionally, from the situation and almost pretend it wasnt my wedding, to remain calm. It sounds weird but it helped me a lot.

Re: For those who are already married...
At that time, 1-3 weeks prior to the wedding, I wanted to elope. Seriously.
So many things were going wrong with dresses and rings and other vendors, family and bridal party were complaining, and I was SO stressed out. I literally cried every day. My DH and I NEVER fight but all of a sudden we acted like we hated each other. I couldn't concentrate at work because there were so many phone calls to make and things to check up on. In summary, I was not at all happy and the only thing that kept me going was looking forward to the wedding being OVER and going on the honeymoon!
From what I see right now from engaged friends, this happens to everyone and it is normal. And FYI, after the wedding, everything was fine, I was calm again, and very happy to be married! So hang in there!

The last few weeks were an emotional roller coaster!!! I was excited and couldn't wait for the day to come. I was sad, because I felt like I was sorta leaving my family. I was nervous. I was STRESSED for all the last minute things that had to get done. It was the craziest time out of the whole planning process!! It is perfectly normal what you are feeling. It is a big change!! Just try your best to spend time with family these last few weeks and enjoy your last weeks as a single gal!! Once the day comes, all you will feel is extreme happiness!!

It's totally normal. I remember being so stressed about RSVPs (yes some people still hadn't responded!! ), other wedding details, finishing up work projects, moving inton DH's place, packing for honeymoon, etc.
It really is a stressful time - from fighting to crying the night before my wedding but once the morning of your wedding comes all is peaceful.. It really was such a great morning for me because you realize all you have to do is get dressed and get married.

I felt all of those things as well....I was SO stressed, and felt like I was doing everything by myself. Don't worry- everything you are feeling is normal. It'll change the minute you are married!!

Re: For those who are already married...
I was the same way - there were lots of things that needed to be done for the wedding, wrap up at work and even have the house in order. We were running all over the place.
My emotions were right on the surface too - I could go from crying to laughing to nothing in less then 10 minutes.
I think it's all normal - hang in there

Re: For those who are already married...
all of the above!! We were struglling with final payments, fears of what life would be like afterwards living with his parents, anxiety about moving on in my life, what our future held.....
sheesh...there were alot of tears and anxiety, but it's worth it and it does go away
