yes they do charge for traveling outside of manhattan, its $200 traveling charge
claudia charges $350 for hair
make up trial is free, day of is $350

Its worth it. They do an amazing job and the makeup stays on all day without messing up. Before I knew of them I was looking to go to a salon one floor up in my building. Very high end, they do celebs but WOW they were wayyyyyyyy more

That is a LOT!!!!!!!!! There are hair stylists and makeup artists JUST as good if not better on Long Island and don't charge you 1000 dollars. Its such a scheme just b/c they're from Manhattan, they charge so much more. Insane!!!!!!!
Your paying for 'where they come from' and the fact that, oooooo, they might do a celebrities hair...... as well as they're amount of talent and quality. I'd just find someone talented on LI just doesnt charge 200 just to step out of the boroughs.

And honestly ive had my hair done SOOOO many times and nobody ever got it JUST perfect, it was always its nice but i wish this was a bit different or that, i would've probably spent just as much on trials testing out one person after another bc for my wedding i dont want to feel like well it could've been a bit different...my hair trial for once in my life i thought wow even better than i could've imagined.

OH YEAH rita hazan is known to be THE MOST expensive person in manhattan PERIOD, she charges more for a haircut than anybody else...i can only imagine their prices for day of wedding

My boss got a hair cut from there today , it was over 200 for his haircut. I wanted to get really good highlights for the wedd and I was thinking to go here. I will get a discount bec I know the people from the building but I dont know.

well these are people with ALOT of money its basically all the filthy rich people who live on 5th avenue, park avenue or whatever. The guy who does the bridal make up and hair does celebrities so they dont care how much it costs and these are people who are worth millions and millions

Ive always said thats why its so great when you find a vendor, Manhattan or not that is up and coming and reeeeaaaally talented but is still relatively NEW, so they don't charge a crazy amount yet cause they're not so well known. I'm sure the Pedela sisters are very well known so they can get away with that as well as coming from Manhattan, you know. I wish there was a forum where new up and coming vendors could post, that would be great. Great talent, less money! Until they get heard about, then they'll be charging an arm and a leg too! lol

i have never in my life seen ANYONE do as good of a job with hair and make-up like the Pedala Sisters....they seriously make you look like a movie star. All you have to do is look at everyone's before and after pics.....Everyone raves about Jen and Oksana but the extra money is totally worth a 100% better job. Check out Espo's before and after, MPAS, and Milana. Those three DO NOT COMPARE with ANY liw vendor.
