For those who can read Spanish #2
I AM SO HAPPY!!!I JUST FINISHED THE DESIGN OF MY PROGRAMS!
I am going to print them myself ... I know I am 8 months ahead, but tonight I began to work a little bite here and there ... and I finished the design! Now I got to find the right paper, and my self-computer oriented gift for Christmas is a new printer. For those that followed the trend with the poem in Spanish for the reading, here there are the two poems I included in one of my program cover (it is threefold) … they might seem long, but I can assure you that they fit perfectly and in a font not too small for reading.
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use ,
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, - I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! -and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.
Elizabeth Barrett Browning,
Pablo Neruda
I hope this gives some ideas for those Spanish brides that are trying to combine their family heritage with theirs Anglo FH.
Good luck,
Elena

Hi Evelyn!The Neruda poem is in Spanish originally. You can find it in hiw 20 poems, and there are a lot of websites with poems of the most famous writers ... I have all my poem books in Venezuela so I have to go online or to go to the library. Do you need any help translating something? Please let me know, I will be glad of helping you!

RIMA LXXVIIPodrá nublarse el sol eternamente;
podrá secarse en un instante el mar;
podrá romperse el eje de la tierra
como un débil cristal.
¡Todo sucederá! Podrá la muerte
cubrirme con su fúnebre crespón;
pero jamás en mí podrá apagarse
la llama de tu amor.
G.A. Becquer

Re: For those who can read Spanish #2
elena...the poems are lovely (DH is Spanish...and I called him over
)but please let me warn you...DO NOT PRINT YOUR PROGRAMS YET!!! You just never know what will happen....I procrastinated printing my programs...and my grandfather who recovered 100% from a heart attack...had another and died 2 weeks before the wedding...I would have had to changed the programs...
having it ready to print is great...but I would leave the printing for a little bit...

Re: For those who can read Spanish #2
Sorry about your grandfather
Yes, I am not printing them until the week before the wedding ... I still got to wait that my parents get their visas to come here, Alan's parents are coming from Europe, and my MOH is also coming from abroad ... so I do have to wait until basically last minute.
Thanks for the tip!
